Low-Cost Array Sensor for Simple Light Grid Applications

The new WL27-3 Reflex Array photoelectric sensor is designed for reliable leading edge detection of
irregular shaped objects. Operating in a “reflex” (retro-reflective) mode results in only having to
mount and power a single device – saving instillation time and cost.

                              Line Extensions

Magnetic Positioning Sensor (MPS)
now measures up to 256 mm

The MPS provides 0.05 mm resolution with up to 256 mm measurement length
in a programmable package that saves installation time and labor costs.

Connect+ Unleashes the Power of SICK Ultrasonics

The Connect+ module and software provides quick and easy access to  the powerful features of the
UM30 and UM18 product lines.  Program these ultrasonic sensors to
handle cross-talk, multiple reflections, and light spot size to detect unwanted targets.

World’s Fastest Photoelectric Sensor with Fiber-Optic Cable

SICK is pleased to announce the new WLL180T fiber optic amplifier. Generally, photoelectric fiber-
optic sensors include the sender and receiver in the same housing and are used to amplify the
optical signal from the fiber optic cable or light guide.

By using flexible plastic or glass fiber-optic cables, the amplifier, such as the new WLL180T, can
reach application areas that are inaccessible to standard photoelectric sensors. Fiber-optic cables
can be used in harsh environments that might be damaging to some photoelectric devices or in areas
with heavy vibration or corrosive substances.
